Sowing Recommendations

Amaranth is a thermophilic (heat-loving) crop; sowing should be performed once the soil is well-warmed.

• Row Spacing: 45 cm or 70 cm.

• Sowing Rate:

  • 45 cm spacing — 1.5 kg per hectare.

  • 70 cm spacing — 1.0 kg per hectare.

• Plant Density: 8–10 productive plants per linear meter.
